Our Church Community

The Friends of St. Frances X. Cabrini strives to preach and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ going back to the times of Jesus. We are a church that embraces our Catholic faith. We are the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, which makes us Catholic. As a community we maintain the cherished traditions of the universal Catholic Church. We are a Catholic Church community that offers the Celebration of Mass, traditional Catholic sacraments and the Creed. Our priests are available for Sacramental ministry including Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, the Sacrament of the Sick and Reconciliation. According to canon law, Sacraments received in our church can be registered with your local Roman Catholic Church. We believe in faith in action, outreach and strive to evangelize all who are seeking to deepen their spiritual life.  As a Catholic community we offer an alternative for those seeking a more welcoming Catholic experience. By joining us you are still a practicing Catholic, but would not be supporting the Roman Catholic Church or Archdiocese of Boston.

The last quotation from Sacred Scriptures in the Vatican II document, Gaudium et Spes, Pastoral Constitution of the Church in the Modern World is as follows:  “Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."  (Eph. 3:20-21)  Our beloved, Saint John Paul II, in fact, proclaimed that all churches possessing the Apostolic Succession and having a valid Eucharist are "true particular churches". The statement has been endorsed as well by Pope Benedict XVI.  [Dominus Iesus]  Our denomination maintains valid lines of Apostolic Succession, which can be traced to the ancient and undivided church. All clergy in our Church community are ordained by the “laying on of hands”. By validly ordained Catholic Bishops.
